One of the few Fincher films I had never seen. Movie rocked. I feel what is a pretty simple premise would result in a film I have seen a bunch of different times. Instead Fincher does what great directors do, he elevated the quality. Loved the movement of the camera in this film and the life it takes on through the film. Finchers dedication to having the camera move throughout the floors of the home gave me a complete understanding…
Not good. Worst of the King Man films. Found the movie and it’s plot to be quite incoherent. This is my least favorite film from Matthew Vaughn.
Fantastic film highlight by two great performances from the two female leads. Loved the way the film looked. Cinematography had a way of making me feel like I was in the 50’s. Spielberg still has his fastball and it is great seeing a film of his in yet another genre. Rachel Zegler and Ariana DeBose should be front runners in Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress. Go see this movie and see it in a theater!
Liked the direction and the performance of the main two female leads. Not too familiar with Jesse Buckley but was left very impressed by her ability to portray a mother struggling with motherhood. Didn’t love the movie overall, found the middle to drag. Olivia Colman, not much to say that hasn’t been said, great actress and she is excellent in this movie.
Written two days after seeing it: I have revised my review a little. Definitely one of those films…
