    Definitely not the horror movie I was expecting, but I also wasn’t as disappointed as I thought I was going to be?

    It think the dark lore behind faeries is always extremely intriguing to me. I think the way this film presented them was a fascinating representation. However, definitely not flawless. I think there could’ve been a lot more suspension building and fear installation.

    Okay I know I've said in past reviews (on horror) that it's the subtle stuff that really gets to the dark corners of my brain, but there's NOTHING subtle about Terrifier. When it comes to anything Art the clown related, it's his silence and gestures that really get under my skin. Of course, I think almost everyone is unsettled on some level by clowns, but Art takes it up a notch.

    This film is quite the unique experience. The way the movie is filmed, primarily from the perspective of the murderer is nothing like I've ever seen before! I was a big fan of the lack of background/ambient music or dramatic sound effects to emphasize scenes.
