    I think the most interesting thing about Blade Runner is that our protagonist has almost no redeeming qualities. Deckard is a violent, angry, manipulative, selfish drunk who gets paid to kill. He is more morally corrupt than the replicants he kills, but even still, he feels like the "hero" of the story and the replicants feel like the "villains". Authority and perspective have such a huge influence on how we judge morality.
