Dog Day Afternoon 1975
Can’t believe it took me this long to watch it! Obviously Al Pacino was great but holy shit John Cazale!!! The way he slowly breaks down as the film goes on is just masterful.
Wasn’t bored for a second, but I’m just not sure how much rewatch value it’ll have. Still highly recommend. Excited to get around to the rest of Lumet’s filmography.

Liked it a bit more this time around. I still think this is just such a distressing and enthralling experience with unironically some of the best acting I’ve seen. I still haven’t seen sicario, but this is probably my favourite film from Denis.

The score is phenomenal. Whenever I’m outside at night I can’t help but always hear that theme in my head and it’s stuck his me since I first watched it. This is…
