This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
2 1/2 simply because of how uncomfortable and awkward I felt throughout the entire film. Virna Lisi managed to portray Nathalie’s feelings of confusion, fear and even adoration for Helmut Berger’s character so well that i too began to resonate with her.
The plot felt too rushed and the simbolism became exhaustingly overstimulating. I wished there were more scenes of him obsessing over her before the marriage but oh well
