  tarantino does it again. he never fails to impress an audience with his close to perfectly executed unapologetic scenes and questionable humour eg. fight scene choreography and interesting yet varied colouring, but what intrigued me the most would have to be O Ren Ishii’s story, such a successful portrayal of her betrayal despite having the limitations of being animated. anyone can identify that the scenes, locations, plot twists were risky moves although they most definitely payed off. bowing down to this masterpiece.

  if i had a million guesses to predict what this movie would be about, none of them would be right. one of the most unpredictable films i’ve seen, yet the more i watched the more i come to realise that it’s so heavily metaphorical. the way peele addressed the exploitation of animals as entertainment/a spectacle is so underestimated, though realistically most of the statements jordan displayed tend to go over societies heads anyways.
