during tonight’s sunset my girlfriend followed me to a part of the zoo’s abandoned railway that overlooks a river - we saw a buck with half of his antlers missing, and something we couldn’t see very well slithering into the water. also two bats. in the dark on the way back she treated me to two scoops of fudgy mudslide ice cream in a waffle cone and the ice cream parlor was playing i’ll make a man out of you so we walked home and watched this right after
