  The critters mainline series ends on quite a dud. What was Angela Bassett doing here? Also hi Eric DaRe! He was in his element here, where he was able to blend in amongst other actors that are as wooden as he is. It works in this movie. I’m not gonna lie, this was a total fucking slog until Charlie enters the fray for the fourth time. This movie is barely 85 minutes, yet feels at least 10 minutes too long.…

  Wow, baby Leo! Critters 3 is a bit of a departure in terms of how insanely low budget this entry is. But with that in mind, I still think it’s a cheap and fun little movie. By no means is it great, but it still has enough like-able characters and funny moments sprinkled throughout to justify a watch. I do love that Charlie becomes such a seminal character in this series.

  Quite possibly one of the most 80’s things I have ever seen. This plays out like a couple of boys playing with action figures and that is the charm for me. Yes it’s technically a terrible film but you can tell so much heart and love was poured into this movie that you can’t help but deeply appreciate it. I also love all of the bromance going on, it’s a very wholesome movie despite how much crazy shit is happening elsewhere.
