frankenstein if he was soft spoken and impotent
i really wanted to like this but every scene w/o winona (who is transfixing) put me to sleep - not nearly as tense as it could have been

i love movies that put real people in genre settings and having them react like real people would - this is a tight family drama set in a home with a ghost - directed by steven soderbergh - starring lucy liu… it fucking rips. the cmo of neon should be hung and quartered for the way they botched this roll out bc if a24 had their hands on this movie its making at least as much as talk to me. instead presence is just under $6M about 3 weeks into its theatrical run. i guarantee this is going to become a classic on streamers
