I liked this film. The dynamics were interesting. I feel like this film was kind of about just a bunch of arseholes that hated each other but also loved each other. Their love and hate for each other was simultaneous; their hate kind of encouraged their love. Like when Tashi spat in Patrick’s face (my favourite scene). Or maybe they just all hated each other deep down. I also like what they did with that churro although it was missing chocolate sauce. I don’t think Tashi liked anyone though, just tennis. Why didn’t she ever eat a churro?

Saltburn 2023
This film was mildly traumatising but in a camp, fun and sexy way. I feel like some of the appeal of this film was simply that Jacob Elordi is hot, but I get it. I would probably at least sniff his bath water. It was really exciting to see the lengths to which this film went to - I have never really seen this in cinema before. I saw it weeks ago but I still think about this daily. It’s my New Roman Empire. Very intrigued to see what Emerald Fennel does next.
