  something about how poverty, pain, and mental illness in this is feels pornographic. The pacing of the movie is a bit odd, thoguh i liked the abstract ness lf the ending. i think having a history myself this is difficult to process but i enjoyed it

  i stand by this as a top 3 christmas movie. who doesn’t love a story about generational trauma and an autistic-coded son with a high moral compass that everyone underestimates but turns out to be incredibly competent and dedicated and thus his family realized he is suited to be a leader.
