I’m writing this review almost a month after seeing this movie and that’s because I simply have not been able to get it out of my head. a terrifyingly beautiful tale of about the darkness that lies just beneath the shining lights of stardom coupled with a flawless soundtrack set in a dark twisted Hollywood this movie takes control of one’s mind and refuses to let go despite the seeming lack of plot this is a film I find myself replaying over and again in my head slowly piecing together and beginning to understand this fragmented masterpiece.

through reading reviews i have learned people didn’t like this movie when it came out and all i have to say is what the fuck is wrong with you people this is a absolutely jaw dropping film from start to finish the chero is stellar the acting is perfect this portrayal of las vegas as a microcosm of america is fantastical yet grounded one of the most honest movies i’ve seen about ambition self deceit and arbitrary moral standards masterpiece
