Although it's going to mostly be remembered for providing the stock footage in Kung Pow, this is definitely not bad. It's not exactly a shining example of the genre, but hey, few things are.
This was obviously made on the cheap in Taiwan, and it shows, but there are flourishes here and there of style. I really like the flashback fight surrounded by candles, and I think parts of the finale are quite atmospheric and fun.

The acting? Bad. The story? Nonsense. But damn if this ain't a good fuckin' time.
A genuinely underrated classic. Does this more or less follow the beats you expect? Yeah. But it's charmingly well acted, and the robbery scenes are fun and engaging. Jada Pinkett and her weirdness tend to overshadow how damn good of an actress she can be. Queen Latifah is, of course, phenomenal, and there's a killer soundtrack. I just really like this.
