The Night House 2020
WOW. Finally a different haunted house story. Rather than stay with tropes, it starts with tropes then goes sideways. Definitely worth the watch; I haven’t been got by jump scares in a while, & this film got me a few times. And they’re well done ones at that!

Re-watched this for spooky movie club. I watched this recently enough that I remember most of the film but what I caught this viewing is how each of the characters were dealing with grief in their own way, you feel just as paranoid as our protagonist. Recommended if you like thrills more than chills.
