Sound of Metal 2019
Firstly I want to congratulate the sound design team for their spectacular work.
About the movie, I absolutely loved it. From it's tragic and hard to watch moments, to the heartwarming ones that put the biggest smile on my face, everything resonated with me, but it was not till the end, where everything clicked together. Every thought and reflection that crossed my mind throughout the movie felt specially relevant at the ending, as if I understood something, as if I learnt.
And when the credits rolled, so did the tears.

Just got home from the cinema and I still have a smile on my face.
I think it's a little too long, specially in the middle of the film, but the beggining and end filled me with such joy that who cares. Totally worth it. I specially loved the surreal aspects of it, the initiation ritual was sick and Dafoe fitted the role to perfection. I also loved Bjork's appearance, so good to see her back even for a little…
