  The initial thought that crosses the mind is the uncanny similarity with Satyajit Ray's work. This was the first time it was evident whom the master filmmaker was inspired from. This piece is a humble child of the neorealism movement and deeply makes you feel without poking you. With a very innocent narrative, the film explores the themes of classism, subtle hints of satire in religious dogmatism and most essentially it talks of love.
