  Why was this actually so good for horror, barely any cheap jump scares, the premise was unique, and it made me turn the hallway light on afterwards. I was eating steak when I started the movie though, not ideal

  Okay so it actually had me guessing for awhile, but it definitely didn't have the last minute twist that M Night Shyamalan is known for. Wasn't sure if I was rooting for the main character or not.

  Takes a minute to get where it's going but the pace fixes up about a third of the way in. If they didn't waste so much time in the beginning covering a bunch of nothing, they could have developed the exciting parts at the end more, which felt rushed. It was giving "Don't Worry Darling" a little bit. Visuals carry you through the slow parts. Some parts were a little fucky, the trigger warning was warranted. Would still watch again.
