Another ultimate group watch. Extended version.
Multiple tears were shed, breaks were had and at least 7 different couch configurations were assumed.
And thus it was. The crew rewatch of the trilogy.. though eternally bound by friendship and love, was ended.
One of just a few perfect cinema experiences. 10 year anniversary in IMAX in a sold out theatre with all the homies. One I’ve been patiently saving for theatres for a while now. The cherry on top, having watched Hans perform the score live earlier this fall.
That is the best fucking movie I’ve ever seen in my entire fucking life!
My second watch at the Carlton after seeing it here two years ago. Had a feeling going in this watch might do it for me. Beaming the whole time. It’s perfect. Jim and Kate are perfect.. and man that score. Gets me every time.
Loved watching the guy in front of me have his mind repeatedly blown as he put the pieces together. A girl sitting behind me let out the most devastating, heartbreaking whimper I’ve ever heard when Jim Carey called out… Wait.
