  The tightest blockbuster of all time? Jack’s whole shtick in this is that he wants freedom and he spends the majority of the movie imprisoned. Everything works. Pinter and Ragetti are the best Rosencrantz and Guildenstern I’ve ever seen. Vistas, quips, impeccably choreographed action. LOTR is often cited as the model for these kinds of movies but to me this defined everything that came after it, and they never really touched the sheer magic that Verbinski crafted. Pirates 💯 

  The goat trilogy is based on a theme park ride. You gotta love it.

  I sincerely believe this will be retroactively viewed as one of the great films of the decade. It’s almost incomprehensible that the real life story is so insane that Durkin had to cut stuff to make the movie more believable. Truly one of the most incredible pieces of the American mythos, a bonafide 20th century Greek tragedy. 

  Every single actor here is phenomenal but this is the role Zac Efron was born to play. If the academy had any balls this would just about sweep the main categories

  Man in front of us recorded the first 20 or so minutes in max length snapchats and then stared at them as they played and then he either deleted them or sent them to one person. He also took a phone call in his seat in the middle of the movie
