  Watched for the first time since theaters and it couldn't have aged better.

  Had been slightly disappointed at the time, expecting another Inglorious Basterds, which it isn't. But given the more confined and claustrophobic Hateful Eight that followed, plus Once Upon a Time in Hollywood providing more insight into how Tarantino sees the westerns from that era, there's been a lot more context for appreciating everything that he's doing in Django.

  In light of OUATIH, it comes across like one of the made-up Rick Dalton movies, and even includes the man himself!
