  as a Syrian, this movie hits hard and feels way too close to home. I loved it tho and it’s definitely worth watching. It powerfully shows what we have to endure in order to feel and be safe. no one puts their children on a boat unless the waters are safer than the land. shame on the Al Assad regime and may we find peace
