I was disappointed when someone said it’s really only good if you’re a theater and Wicked fan, until I saw it and remembered I’m a theater and Wicked fan. I’m definitely not holding this to the standard I would a movie I knew nothing about, adapted from a medium I’m not incredibly familiar with. I also don't feel like musicals adapt well to the screen just in general, but I do think this is one of the best attempts.
