  This is almost like the beginning of the newer style gangster films, with the old ones dying out with Once Upon a Time in America. Karen and Henry completely spiral out in the final act. I didn’t really love any character but I empathize with Henry, and I want to know more about Jimmy. Wish I could see more of De Niro as the mobster with the thick lens glasses.
