  Awesome visuals. I particularly liked how the lighting was mostly warm and always a little dimmed. Definitely helps you feel the setting for the story.

  Adrien Brody was obviously really good, but Guy Pearce's character was the most entertaining (the fact that he's a terrible person notwithstanding).

  My only gripe is that, while I've come to appreciate it in hindsight, the epilogue was so tonally different that it was difficult to lock in on the message.
