  You were right. It does feel like the culmination of everything he’d been working towards in his movies. Like spending three hours with an ugly, screaming baby. I couldn’t wait for it to end but now somehow sort of want to go through the whole ordeal again. Maybe to make sense of so much suffering? The lightbulb eater will haunt me for the rest of my days. The reversed, inversed Uncle Fester! Why?!

  One of those films I find hard to locate. Objectively good but I didn’t enjoy it. Not a movie I like (or would even recommend) but one I can’t stop thinking about.

  The new one from Paolo Sorrentino, essentially a 2.5hr Italian epic about how Italian women are too beautiful and Catholicism/The Sea/Love are mysterious and enchanting, might ruin your life and will definitely make you cry
