  The camera work and cinematography in this is phenomenal. Captured the nostalgia, loss, hope, and longing perfectly.

  A few thoughts:

  - a great first two acts - kinda lost interest in the third
  - Mark Ruffalo tried way to hard to make his character Trumpian
  - Robert Pattinson is one of the greats
  - Mickey 18 is completely inconsistent with the rest of his characters and there is no explanation. 
  - this is a GREAT time, and a fantastic premise

  Starting 2025 movie year out strong (yes I know it’s March but I feel we are just getting started)

  What sight to behold. From the opening shot to the end the whole thing is a spectacle. I had very high hopes for this and for the most part it did not disappoint. There is so much heart here and while I had heard great things particularly about Grande’s comedic timing it was her nuance and emotional depth in Glinda that really surprised me - especially in that opening number.

  I’m so mixed on this. Hilarious and heartbreaking. But way too wild for me. I guess I should have expected that from Sean Baker.

  While I don’t agree with his worldview, there is no doubt this oozes with talent all over the place.
