Great set pieces but some of the dialogue was just too corny and forced. Too much "explain this to the dumb dumbs" however I had fun

Event Horizon 1997
The tagline cracks me up every time:
"Infinite Space - Infinite Terror"
I absolutely love this film. Scared the shit out of me as a child. I really dig that the first half makes me feel pure dread and goosebumpy, and the 2nd half (especially the last quarter) is just a clunky, quip-filled, hilarious mess. The disparity between the two is hilarious, and makes the film all the more endearing.
If you liked Sunshine, give this one a watch. Sunshine comes out on top though for me.
