  to be fair i haven’t seen that many great horror films so i don’t know what makes them good. i do however know what makes films in general good & that’s typically two things. 1) A STORY and 2) CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT. 
  how am i supposed to give a shit about grandma and grandpa slaughtering everybody if their motives are absolute horse shit/non existent and the characters were so flat they were just there— delivering zilch and making me feel absolutely nothing…
