This was absolutely spectacular, it simultaneously healed and hurt me. Defending your Life is on of the finest movies I’ve watched in quite a while. Additionally,  it delivered a performance for the audience that is so emotionally provoking, that I haven’t cried so hard since I watched Bridges of Madison County. Also starring Meryl Streep!
She has such a natural gift for raw emotion and a heart full of love which makes every performance of hers, worth watching.

Sorry I couldn’t keep thinking about how Tarzan most likely wouldn’t have been  vaccinated in any major capacity, then again it was also the late 1800s so who am I to judge too much.

What a beautiful story about found family, growing up and adventuring into adulthood. Banger soundtrack from the one and only Phil Collins! Extra half star just for this soundtrack alone.

Fun fact: Tarzan’s animation in scenes where he flies through trees, his movements were based and modeled on those of Tony Hawks skateboarding. Beautiful style of animation, felt nearly 3D at certain points.

    Alex: Who?
    Kelli Ann: The girl... Alex.
    Alex: There's no girl.
Kelli Ann: You can't hide it, man. I know strung out, and YOU are strung out.

    Alex: Please.

Kelli Ann: This is amazing. You can't focus. Right? Jumping every time your phone rings. Checking your e-mail a hundred times a day. Wishing you could write songs.
    Alex: [laughs]
Kelli Ann: No. Feeling the need to bring up her name in random conversations. It's always…

    Jeff Buckley: You and I

When I first started listening to Buckley, I had no idea who he was, not a clue as who this beautiful voice belonged to, and what he could have done with it. But what I did know was the gut feeling that he was no longer alive, otherwise had he had the chance to grow older, and maybe made more music, I would have know about him sooner.

Jeff Buckley had such an eloquent way of writing his music…

Will Arnett (Canadian heartthrob), and his total 20 minute screen time makes up for Will Ferrell‘s weird dark eyebrows.
