  an absolute banger. just a triumph of a monster movie. i loved how all the night scenes were in black & white, i loved the lighting, i loved the big landscape & architecture shots. a lot of great physical acting, amazing sound design, just a hoot & a half all the way around. i will have more to say the next time i watch this i’m sure.

  also, my first time going to the movies on christmas!

  man i don’t even know what to say other than i walked into my house & my dad asked how it was & i just folded my body in half. jane schoenbrun is SO. GOOD. at creating a cohesive vibe in their work, in every aspect. all the music, lighting, editing, everything comes together to set a tone so thick you’re still sitting in it on the drive home.
  this movie is sickening (positive). it’s visceral & beautiful & insanely impactful as a film…
