Within this movie is a Chalie Kaufman-esque psychological thiller about a man metaphorically killing himself every time he's alone - and it's one of the best movies of all time. Jake Johnson screams at people over and over 'I can't be alone' which switches between being funny and slightly sickening. He is killed by images from his life, the films he sinks too much time into, the person he tried to be as a child, the reality TV star beloved…

Genuinely a fascinating watch, for a multitude of reasons. You can kind of feel the strange vibes going on at all times, but also it made me cry about Princess Diana, and seeing the Culkin's and the Jackson's getting to have fun playing childish games together is, I don't know, there are parallels to draw here aren't there, there are things to be said about Mac Culkin getting to have this. A deep sadness and an unpleasant aura surrounds all of the footage in this doc despite the apparent joy within it, and that makes it, to me, very worth wathcing.

Probably the most right place right time movie of my whole goddamn life, so, as such, I don't really think I can even get into it. At least not without writing out my entire life story, or at least everything that happened to me last year, or at least explaining that I woke up at 6am this morning to take my cousin to the airport so that he could go back to LA. Maybe one day I'll manage to put…
