for fun :-)
So grim and bleak but not overindulgent in it's misery.
The horror here lies in the hollow repetitiveness of everyday life and how the existential dread begins to slowly unravel. No escape. No catharsis.
We get caught in a mundane cycle with this family where we find ourselves bored and restless alongside them. My biggest fear, truly.
Pure cinematic poetry.
We are instantly transported into the most spellbinding dream once Belle enters the Beast’s castle, there’s nothing like this scene and it leaves me breathless every single time.
The life brought into the various dark corridors… the candleholders that slowly drift their enchanted gaze as Belle is practically levitating as her long cloak trails behind. The curtains floating in the hallway… a masterclass of practical effects.
So enchanting. Jean Cocteau’s vision is the closest we have come to replicating a dream in its purest form.
Really love Sebastían Silva's ability to write the most insufferable white people ever
I know y’all are lying.
This was laughably awful and the score was soooo irritating
My mom and I have this thing against Jared Leto where every time he’s on screen we cant help but roll our eyes over his… como se dice… cara de pendejo?
