Watching this for the first time with friends in a movie theatre was a wonderful experience. But on second viewing (alone in my room) the movie wasn’t as good as I remembered it but I still love it, even with all its faults. I still laugh at most of the jokes even the stupid ones.

At one point this movie felt more disturbing than Hereditary. Maybe cause I wasn’t prepared for it. A solid horror film with a good ending too!
I think at this point I just need to accept that camp is my favourite genre 😄 It’s really impressive that Anna Biller basically did everything in this movie, except act in it. That deserves half a star at least. That intro monologue is just so much fun 💃🚬🚘🔮♥️🚔👮♀️☠️💘🍷

Okay, I think I should’ve loved this a lot more, I mean it has all the right ingredients, but for some reason it just didn’t do it for me. Well, I’m gonna read some intelligent Letterboxd reviews now, maybe I can convince myself that this movie is a masterpiece. In the meantime, it’s a 6/10.
