Donkey Skin 1970
While there was a rather surprising lack of strenuous objection to the threatened incestuous marriage, it is a gorgeous movie. The music got a little repetitive. But I stayed awake for a surreal French movie after a long day at work, because I was invested in Donkey Skin avoiding marriage to her father. The movie is not even close to being as disturbing as Serge Ginsburg and the video with his daughter.

As a child, I detested the Baroness (an actress nominated for 3 Oscars!) for driving Maria away. But now I realize the Baroness was truly treated shabbily.
