"Sound of Metal" is an all around beautiful and touching piece of art and film.
The acting in this movie was phenomenal, especially Riz Ahmed who delivered both his spoken and signed lines with such a strong emotional impact.
The sound design in this movie is exceptional. It does an incredible job of portraying the sounds that Ruben no longer can hear or have been altered. The use of these masterfully crafted sounds helps the audience understand the confusing and disheartening experiences Ruben has to go through.
This movie is very impactful and emotional and is definitely worth a watch.
