Wonka 2023
A genuine delight. Everyone clearly had a fantastic time making this film. Some of the songs manage to reach above competent and into wonderful stand-alone pieces. The set design is marvelous and inventive. It does a lot of work in the storytelling department. Almost manages to reach Cat in the Hat tier. The soundtracks call backs to the original are tasteful and sparing.

Pants shittingly paced. Action that would make Michael Bay blush. Cinematography that puts Spielberg to shame. This movie has everything. A true bro down hoe down.
I would give it five stars but the final action scenes kinda drag a bit and there's no queer representation.
