  I feel weird admitting that I loved this film. The reason being that the whole film makes you feel uncomfortable.
  This movie is not for everyone but I feel, if you are a horror fan, you will love it. This film portrays the gritty life of a Puritan so beautifully that it makes you feel like you are in the year 1630 right along with the characters. I loved the lighting and the overall direction. Unfortunately, I feel like the movie buffs will enjoy this film but it will be lost on the general public. I sincerely hope this is not the case.
