This movie has more soul that anything Hollywood has been delivering so far. The writing is good and quirky, the video cuality is a little outdated but everything else makes up for it. It has you caring for the characters and shares a lot with the manga “Blame” with a sort of similar concept. I generally have a soft spot for stop motion since it takes such a monumental effort to pull off, the artists in Junk Head went above and beyond on this one. Overall excellent movie.

More poetic than the first one I’m gonna say. Still feels what Mad Max Fury Road from a different perspective. Story rich world and amazing cinematography. Although I have mixed feelings on Chris Hemsworth being the villain, his character is a “well written asshole that you can’t fully judge cause he kinda makes sense but still fuck you you deserve a tree planted on your dick”.
