  Too much of the runtime is taken up by political intrigue for my taste (not to mention it turning into Passion of the Christ at the end) but when it comes to historical action sequences 300 could NEVER.  Production value and sheer scale of everything is off the charts, also the first battle has the coolest slow motion sword flip that has ever been filmed
