  I thought this was a fantastic horror. There were some great scares which have really stuck with me. The story was solid with many underlying messages which left me thinking about the film long after watching it. And it wasn't as predictable as many other horrors which have come out in he past few years.

  The sound design was fantastic, I mean I really really loved it. And the cinematography was amazing too. So all of that combined with a great kid actor and mother left me thinking this is one of the best horrors I've ever seen.

  Kill List 2011

  Kill List is a mind fuck.

  I have seen it three times now and I still don't understand it very well. It's such a strange film, and so different compared to other thriller/horrors.

  The score in particular keeps the film incredibly tense and unsettling. The atmosphere is dark and rough. It is also quite gory although that's forgiven seeing as it is about two contract killers.

  Rian Johnson's incredible action sci-fi Looper tells the time travelling tale of Joe Simmons, who is played by Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and older self by Bruce Willis.

  The world Joe lives in is narratively explained very well by Gorden-Levitt's voice over. Joe is an assassin, the not so average type that kills people from the future and disposes of their body's. We see a fragment of his rockstar lifestyle before he is confronted by his last hit; himself.
