    Musically flawless even if the setlist could have been better.

    Film-wise it‘s a different thing. The concert sequences are partly brilliantly filmed and staged, but many times they simply overdone it with all the close-ups and choreographed shots.
    Except the Interstellar one also most of the on-location performances around Dubai didn‘t really work for me and you can‘t deny the fact that this often feels like a promo film for the city of Dubai.

    C I N E M A 🤌

    Maybe I‘m simple minded but with the whole structure including an overture, intermission, epilogue and the credits design the film already had my heart.

    It definitely helped that the movie itself is flawlessly made, looked & sounded impressive and the runtime did never feel like an issue at all. 
    Even more remarkable because it‘s a quite a calming and atmospheric picture rather than a big spectacle.

    I don't wanna take away anything from the importance of the topic and the story. The players who spoke up or fought back over the years, no matter if they still played or refused to doing so, deserve a lot respect for their courage.
