So 1. essentially a love triangle. 2. I hate seeing Aaron Taylor Johnson cry (get him away from granny). 3. Id fall for it too (Soothed her when she was lonely). Also saw some discourse over the film saying he wanted Thomas TOO!!! Woah!!

I’ve got a little trouble with this movie. Maybe I’m just not used to movies with “simple” storylines. I use quotations bc this movie is actually complex. But to me, it’s slow. Maybe that added to it all, I don’t know. Maybe I gotta watch more movies like this to appreciate the beauty of it even more. But gotta say lovely island. Absolutely stunning. But filled, with I think, sad, lonely people.
Makes me wonder if my friends will ever…
