  While this is a sort of humble and simple movie, it left me feeling kind of heartbroken ☹️ It is A REAL PAIN looking at someone you’ve known your whole life and realizing you don’t know who they really are anymore. Benji and David just want to be accepted for their true selves but struggle with the morals of the world and don’t know if anything they are doing is right. This movie is deep but also funny and overall a good watch.

  It’s labeled as a comedy but kind of felt like ripping my skin off from stress. Went into this movie knowing nothing so the opening scene startled me 🤨 but I loved this entire movie. The buildup throughout it was so intense and amazing. I felt the stress and anxiety the whole time. Even from the beginning, the minor expressions and tones at certain points really brought the whole thing together of making it feel so raw and awkward.

  Was not expecting this to be so good and emotional (even with Joaquin Phoenix’s goofy eyeshadow). It was very well done and entertaining. Even with it being a more historical type movie it never had a boring moment and kept me hooked. It gives you hope that there are still good people out there with “strength and honor” 😭😭
