Dune 2021
Dune (part 1) is essentially just a build up for the sequel. It’s very detailed and has a slow build up but maybe this adaptation is trying to be faithful to the book by not cutting anything out. Doesn’t seem like they condensed anything for the movie. I appreciated that though. I still enjoyed the set up

I think this movie moved me so much because everything felt slow and vulnerable and real.
