  Weirdly, not the worst movie I’ve seen this year.

  Don’t get me wrong, this movie is bad. Butttttt… not THAT bad! It was in a weird in between where it wasn’t bad enough to consistently have fun with how bad it was, and wasn’t good enough to take seriously.   Mickey 17 had all the right ingredients. A stellar performance by Robert Pattinson, a unique sci-fi aesthetic, a cleverness to the world building, and an over the top and wild story.   No man is worthy to be pope because men are corrupt.
