Blue Velvet 1986
Jeffrey’s moral compass is heavily off in this. He is a young, hormone-driven college kid who takes advantage of a vulnerable woman and receives a happier ending than expected. He even manages to stay with Sandy after keeping this secret from her. However, that could be the point.

Dream Scenario 2023
I really liked the idea of this movie. It was an interesting plot point to have Paul appear in everybody’s dreams then to play on his emotions and have those translate into the dreams. I felt bad for him at one point, but I couldn’t help but lose interest at the corny introduction of the “dream bracelet”. It turned a quirky and intriguing film into a rather goofy story. And the ending left a lot to be answered but not in an appealing way.
