This film accomplishes an incredible amount of story telling that’s made all the more impressive by the short, 2 hour runtime. It’s of course backed by a fantastic score, cinematography and acting performances.

The Northman 2022
Went into this movie excited by the trailer. I think my low score reflects my disappointment that it was not was I was expecting. I’ve heard this movie described as “if Shakespeare and Braveheart had a biking baby with A24.” Unfortunately, this is all too accurate for me and I was not prepared for the strange spiritual twist. Sad because I was really hoping to love it.
