  Love a no plot film, but this was exceptionally slow. Not bad though I still liked it. Could’ve used a tiny bit more context to things but I know it’s semi autobiographical. I’m sure the writer/director kept herself a bit guarded. Little girl is a phenomenal actress. Felt like I was truly watching a home video/I was a fly on the wall for this father/daughter getaway. Major trigger warning if you have daddy issues though damn.

  So poorly casted??? Confused by how few sexual encounters there were?? You’re gonna tell me that she cheated on her tall dark and handsome Spanish husband ANTONIO BANDERAS with a skinny little tatted white boy from Essex???? Unbelievable. That was so stupid. Nicole Kidman needs to speak at a normal volume.

  Damn if I could give this movie zero stars, I would. 

  First off!! The singing added ZERRROOO benefit to the plot. Everyone was a bad singer. They just sang what they would’ve said, very poorly. The parts that broke out into musical felt so ridiculous and useless. I’d start to be invested, then Zoe Saldana would get on the table and straddle a random man who is frozen since she’s singing in some paused universe. And don’t even get me started…
