Originally I really wanted to give this movie like a 1 and 1/2 stars, even though I understood the messaging, and argue with people about how it wasn’t actually very good.There was a point in the third act however that really hit me hard in the heart and soul and made me show reverence to the film. Wow this was fantastic. Everything in the film I loved. It even put me on edge in a way most films can’t.
Only thing I wish different about the film is more of the main antagonist Proximus. His character was really interesting and I wish we could have gotten some more of him.
The action was brutal and well done, the CGI was phenomenal, the characters were engaging, the plot was good and explores the idea of the apes world…
