Mickey 17 2025
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
It would be fool to expect something reaching the level of Parasite, I was not that fool so I manged to enjoy this funny and (could've been more) sharp satire.
Two minor things didn't totally convince me:
-at a certain point it seem to start showing how Mickey, being a commodity, is seen and used as such even by its friends and lovers. Unfortunately in the third act this idea is almost totally abandoned, even contradicted in the flashback scene…

Til last week I totally ignored Kozaburo Yoshimura. After 4 movies of his in a few days, thanks to Il Cinema Ritrovato (in this case I'd rather say "Trovato"), and especially after this, I can officially say I've found another director to add to the long list of directors I love and to the even longest one of the ones whose opus I am eager to explore.
